SYDNEY PIC DRYDOCK
CONSTRUCTED BY ORDER OF ADMIRAL C.W. WAUGH
STARDATE 50303.31

Old EHS pal Sara Bigalke was kind enough to let me stay at her place. Her roommate Lauren didn't seem to mind either. Long-term exposure to Chris Waugh, however, can never be a good thing. They braved it, somehow. Sara here also stays in UniLodge. This UL is way bigger than mine in rooms. I like my room better because of view, privacy, and air, but the space here is incredible. They have two levels!
There's the Vampire, I believe the last non-Guided Missile Cruiser in the Australian fleet to be in active service. The all-black diesel submarine Udall is berthed adjacent. One of many, many, many outdoor places to eat in Australia. The breeze coming from the harbor almost brought it up to Scotty's level in Miami.
The clock tower is where Central Station is, the main transportation hub for Sydney, seeing all manner of commuters and airline passengers like myself. It's a big, but not crowded intersection nearby either. As with other Australian cities, Sydney has excellent taste with its planning, such as with its colors and structures. These are really the cities of today. Chinatown!
A monument to the Coriolis effect, or as some in Architecture would like you to believe, a monument to evolution. One of my favorite places in the world, Sydney's Darling Harbor is a transit point to the Zoo, the Opera House, and countless other places. This is the bridge that takes you over the Harbor and the line to the right is for a little OIA shuttle thing that takes you around. Also, note the flags and colors. It's a nice sight.
View of city from Harbor A shopping mall and some incredible hotels on the Harbor
Roughly beneath the bridge, these people enjoy the day at the Harbor. A nearby water and black marble piece that sort of winds around a park ground almost like a Bach/Escher/Godel strange loop.
View of city from under bridge. M:I2 was filmed here. It was written by Trek scribes Braga and Moore and you can tell by the obviously very Trek plot. Australian National Maritime Museum
The Museum displayed a gift from the United States, a collection of many veritable works of art, such as propaganda posters, and military devices, etc. What kind of commentary does it yield on the US and/or Australia? Very cool poster.
Sailboats There's the Opera House, by the neat bridge
The bridge from underneath; I picked a day of difficult weather to access the area, but on my tour, we saw a Russell Crowe house, a Nicole Kidman house, and the Prime Minister's residence. The Opera House and city. I will have to return soon to catch a performance!
