| Looking down that sidewalk (George St), you would eventually come to QUT, and the road to the left (Margaret St) would be my apartment. But directly to the left here is the Queen Street Mall, through which 500,000 people flow per week. It's a huge center of commerce and social life. | This is directly to the left of the last picture. I am taking these for my Architecture Project. The area in blue is roughly the area I was changing for my own purposes -- a ridiculously useless, out of place art piece made of chairs, tables, and water. Water = good, but... |

| Even more to the left of last picture. You begin toget a sense, looking down on the left, of how long this mall spans. | This is from behind the Malone's restaurant of the past picture. The blue area is roughly the space taken up by my Project, which would still only displace about the same amount of walking space as the dumb chairs because the living space itself is raised. |

| A more precise area of the project, from afar. This is another front view from across George St. While this looks phallic, I assure you that my project is gender sensitive. :) | A bus access port right on the mall sidewalk. |

| This little art piece in the middle of the mall, but about 200 m down from where I'm building my project, really sticks out incongruously with the mall. However, it's not a bad piece and it works great with the people, sun, and wind. It's abstract to say the least. | A view looking up at the piece. I like the colors and materials a lot, so I employ them in a more "rudimentary" form in my project, implying a form of evolution, rising from the water-chaos of my oasis through the sails, made of the same bluish glass material and braced by the same grey structures, to this sort of "super vessel" of order and organic harmony. In my view, my project completes the tapestry of the mall, whereas the chairs ruined it. My teachers agreed. |

| Another view, this time, facing back down some of the mall. This point is actually the very middle of an extended "+" shaped mall. | Difficult to see, but that structure is underneath where concerts and fashion shows are held daily. They're a lot of fun to watch because I have new perspective on them now. It's halfway between my project and the latter structure. |

| On my way out from taking pictures and making sun, person, and wind diagrams, two cop motorcycles suddenly stopped right in the middle of George St. I looked to my left and saw these folks marching down the street under armed escort. | Here they come! [RANT ON PEOPLE WHO DON'T READ HAS BEEN EDITED OUT] Why don't they ever protest truly bad things? |

| I love these people because they really make me think. You see, there's a paradox here. [RANT EDITED OUT FOR PROPER POLITICAL VIEWING]. They were absolutely sedate. They're probably asking themselves the $1,000,000 Admiral Stockdale question: Why am I here? |
